God Scroll

These terms are between you and Arkadiusz Sroczyk, who runs God Scroll from Poland. They cover the God Scroll app, its widgets and this website. By using the app you agree to them. They're written to be read, so if anything is unclear, ask us.

The license

God Scroll is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). That agreement applies in full. These terms add to it; where the two disagree, the standard EULA wins.

Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to provide support for it. Questions and complaints about the app come to us.

Subscription and trial

Reading God Scroll needs a subscription, billed yearly or monthly through your Apple Account. The subscription screen shows the price before anything starts.

  • Trial. The yearly plan comes with a trial for people who haven't had one. The monthly plan has none and starts straight away. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged when it ends. If you allow notifications, the app reminds you three days before.
  • Renewal. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Apple charges your Apple Account within the 24 hours before renewal. If a payment fails, Apple tries again, and you may lose access until it goes through.
  • Cancelling. In the app, open Settings and tap Manage subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Refunds. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Explanations

Explanations, book guides and other notes in the app are written with the help of AI and checked against the Bible text and published sources, but they can still contain mistakes. They aren't Scripture or the teaching of any church, and they don't replace your own pastor, priest or community.

Using the app

Use God Scroll for your own reading. Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its server, or copy Bible translations from it in bulk. We may block access that does.

Each Bible translation belongs to its publisher or is in the public domain: see Editions and sources in the app's Settings. The app's design, explanations, artwork and name belong to God Scroll. Verse Photos you make are yours to share.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or always available. Apple's standard EULA sets the warranty, the limits on liability and the governing law. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions: support@godscroll.app.
